Since my artistic approach is rooted in the tradition of observation, I'm searching for a spark between my perception and yours—whether that spark be connection, disconnection, or something else entirely. I'm fascinated by the personalities of the traditional painting and drawing media that I use, even more so by their ability to influence and distort my own personality.

All of the works on the site were made by me, the artist, by hand, using physical materials. I do not (and will not ever) use AI at any point in my artistic process. I do not condone the use of generative AI for the creation of visual art, and see its use as a copyright violation against countless non-consenting artists.
